Every effort has been made to preserve the spirit and style of this house by using high quality, traditional building materials such as stone and wood. Its renovation is a blend of authentic craftsmanship and contemporary design standards.

Each stylish bedroom bears a unique mark of special attention to detail. The walls and ceilings are a blend of wood, stone and whitewash. The floors in the bedrooms are solid oak and teak in the bathrooms.

In keeping with the traditional spirit of the house, each bedroom bears the name of someone who played a part in this old mountain farmhouse's history.

Set on the first floor with a view over the Goul valley at sunrise and sunset,
shades of white, linen and sea-green give this room a calm and soothing atmosphere :

Each room has direct access to toilet and bathroom facilities, so as not to disturb those sleeping in the lounge.

A family suite of two bedrooms, one looking out over the valley and the other over the hills. Furnished in natural tones, the wood used is a blend of oak, pine and larch. It is spacious and cosy at the same time :

With its slightly sloping ceiling, this cosy bedroom is furnished in natural tones that blend in with the wood and stone. It faces South-West with a view over the valley :

It is possible to book the whole house and become hosts yourselves for a family stay or to invite friends.
On top of the two suites and the bedroom, there is a 2nd floor and we are able to cater for families or groups between 9 and 14 people.

As soon we receive your payment, we will send you a voucher together with documentation about our house and activities around.

Stays in family or with friends at La Roussière

You can privatise La Roussière and become privileged guests for the time of a stay between friends or with your family. In that case you will become the only guests of our house.

We will help you to organise your activities during your stay: suggestions of visits, excursions, walking tours (loan of itineraries and maps), snow-shoes rental in winter. On request hikes with Christian (accredited mountain leader AMM).

If you wish, we concoct with you a particular menu to celebrate a special occasion (birthday, new-year's eve…).
